What would Donald Trump say to the class of 2020 in a virtual graduation speech?
Saturday Night Live has some thoughts. The sketch opens with Kate McKinnon, principal of a school called Mary Magdalene by the Expressway, welcoming students to the school’s virtual graduation. She explains that the school’s top picks for keynote speaker, including Barack and Michelle Obama, Axl Rose, and murder hornets, all said no.
That leaves the students with Donald Trump, played by Alex Baldwin. And he has some truly unhinged words of advice, telling students to “surround yourself with the worst people you can find. That way you’ll always shine. If you don’t understand something, just call it stupid. Never wear sunscreen. And live every day like it’s your last. Because we’re going to let this virus run wild.”
