Two configurations of the new iPad Pros are on sale at Walmart as of June 18:

We aren’t going to bury the lead, here: Both of the new iPad Pros that Apple launched in May have hit record-low prices at Walmart ahead of its Prime Day-rivaling Deals for Days sale (which kicks off Sunday, June 20).

As of June 18, you could head to the big box store to save $50 on the space gray 11-inch model with 128GB of storage and a whole $100 on the silver 12.9-inch version with 256GB of onboard memory (both with only WiFi — no cellular connectivity). Note that the same prices were live on Amazon at the time of writing, except the 11-inch version was listed as “temporarily out of stock.”

Both of Apple's new iPad Pros come with support for the Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard (each sold separately).

These new iterations of Tim Cook’s most powerful tablet don’t look all that different from their predecessors, but you’ll find a few exciting new features under their hoods — yes, even some of that fancy Apple silicon. Heavy-duty tasks like 3D design and 4K video editing are a breeze thanks to the M1 chip, and an all-new Liquid Retina XDR display on the 12.9-inch model is truly stunning. (The 11-inch one sports an almost-as-pretty standard Liquid Retina display, which comes with the same ProMotion, True Tone, and P3 wide color support.) Some new TrueDepth camera systems with Ultra Wide front cameras, meanwhile, make both of them super useful for video calls.

All that being said, you should probably pass on these new iPad Pros if you managed to snag one of last year’s models, which came with the same rear camera setup and LiDAR scanner (for augmented reality apps) — the few differences between the two generations aren’t worth dropping another $800 to $1,000, says Mashable tech reporter Brenda Stolyar. But if you’re trying to ditch an older tablet that’s on its last legs, by all means grab one while they’re sitting at this record-low pricing.
