Amazon Prime Day started at midnight PT on Oct. 13, but we saw a ton of early deals at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy before the sale even started. One category where we’re seeing a bunch of great discounts is headphones.
We’re willing to bet that you use headphones at some point throughout your week, whether that’s to listen to music, audiobooks, or podcasts — or just to drown out other people and noises. Ahead of Prime Day, we’ve found some deals on headphones and earbuds that you simply can’t pass up. (Including AirPods Pro back down to their lowest price ever.)
BEST WIRELESS EARBUDS: Apple AirPods Pro — $199.99 (save $50)
Even if you aren’t an Apple loyalist, you’ve probably been itching to get your hands on AirPods Pro. The noise-canceling wireless earbuds mold to your ears and have different listening modes depending on how much external sound you want to block out. They’re sweat and water-resistant and have easy access to Siri.
BEST NOISE-CANCELING HEADPHONES: Bose QuietComfort 35 II — $199 (save $150)
While noise-canceling earbuds are great, you just can’t beat the seal of over-ear headphones. The Bose QuietComfort 35 II are excellent noise-canceling headphones that consistently make the cut for best headphone lists. They’re wireless and have three levels of noise cancellation, plus Alexa is built-in for voice controls.
When you’re working out or being active, you want to make sure your headphones are going to stay in place and hold up to any sweat that might (read: will) drip onto them. The Sony earbuds are a bit bulkier than AirPods, but they stay put and provide superb sound quality while being sweat and splash proof. Plus, they have extra bass sound for when you’re really in the zone.

Trust that you’ll get amazing quality from Beats as they feature the Apple H1 chip and Class 1 Bluetooth for extended range and minimal dropouts. These headphones have active noise cancellation and transparency mode to let you control the amount of external sound that gets in.
If you don’t really care about noise cancellation, the classic AirPods are a more affordable choice. And personally, I like the fit better than the Pros.
The Bose 700 headphones impressed our reviewer, but he was a bit turned off by the price. While $20 off isn’t much, it’s still some extra cash you’ll have in your pocket if you buy these outstanding headphones.
This pair of Jabra headphones features large 40-millimeter speakers that produce exceptional sound, especially for the price. You’ll get up to 50 hours of listening on a single charge and the charging time is super quick, so you’re never really without music.

The E7 pair offers more comfort and durability with their professional protein earpad and 90-degree swiveling earcups. You’ll be able to enjoy deep bass with their 45mm large-aperture drivers but if you’re looking for something even better, consider upgrading to the E7 Pro for just $16 more.
