Sometimes you just need to lie under a weighted blanket and listen to the soothingly reassuring voice of Sir David Attenborough.

If you’ve watched all of his Instagram videos, then here’s something to kickstart your day: A BBC Breakfast interview with the 94-year-old naturalist.

In the exclusive interview, presenter Louise Minchin talked to Attenborough about climate change and how we can play our part in fighting against it.

“If there’s one choice to make today, what choice would you like people to make?” asked Minchin.

“Don’t waste,” he replied after a moment’s reflection. “Don’t waste anything. Don’t waste electricity, don’t waste food, don’t waste power. Just treat the natural world as though it’s precious, which it is. And don’t squander those bits of it that we have control of.”

Good advice, as ever.
