Stories about social media privacy breaches and user data being pinched during massive hacks are pretty much ten a penny these days.

But if those haven’t been enough to put you off ever doing anything on the internet again, Netflix’s new documentary The Social Dilemma is here to really send you running.

“What I want people to know is that everything they’re doing online is being watched, is being tracked, is being measured,” says former Twitter exec. Jeff Seibert in the clip. “Every single action you take is carefully monitored and recorded. Exactly what images you stop and look at, for how long you look at it — oh yeah, seriously, for how long you look at it.”

The strength of The Social Dilemma, according to Mashable’s Angie Han, lies in its “impressive array of talking-head interviews,” which includes a number of tech insiders like Seibert and former Pinterest president Tristan Harris.

Based on the clip above, it looks set to be a fairly unnerving viewing experience.

The Social Dilemma drops on Netflix Sept. 9.
