We recommended the Foreo UFO in our Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gift guides. The small, handheld device can be customized with an app to add heat, cryotherapy, vibrations, and LED lights to your otherwise basic skincare routine.

First Aid Beauty Intense Hydration Ultra Repair Cream Moisturizer for $15 ($27 off)

Sephora

Sephora is having a huge Black Friday sale, but this cream is a standout. It’s great for face and body when you need extra moisture to heal especially dry and sensitive skin. It’s particularly useful during the winter months.

ZitSticka Killa Kit Pimple Patches for $27 ($9 off) and Press Refresh Masks for $27 ($9 off)

ZitSticka

Frankly, ZitSticka is far too expensive for the amount of product you’re getting—eight patches and five masks in these kits. But they are nice. The patches have microdarts for those deep, cystic pimples that far outstay their welcome. The Press Refresh masks are made of cooling hydrogel, and did actually calm a full-cheek breakout that I (Medea) recently had.

Gift With Purchase at Elate Cosmetics

Elate Beauty

Elate is unfortunately not having a typical percentage-off sale, but the company is planting one tree for every product purchased (typically it does one tree per order). Plus, there are some free gifts with purchases of $60 or more. We like Elate’s products, and its ethos. The company uses sustainable packaging and creates as little waste as possible.

T3 Lucea ID Hair Straightener for $176 ($59 off)

T3Micro (Enter HOLIDAY25 at Checkout)

This is one of the best flat irons I (Medea) have ever tried, and part of an upcoming beauty gift guide. Its digital display has settings for hair texture, length, and if the hair is color treated in order to automatically set the right temperature. It makes beautiful curls too.

Ulta Black Friday Sale

Like many stores, Ulta is hosting a huge sale. We tend to prefer Ulta over Sephora here at WIRED because its free rewards program translates to actual cash off future orders, and the store sells both luxury and affordable products. (Sephora has a rewards program too, but points are redeemed for samples and trial-sized products.) Here are some of our favorites:

  • Makeup Eraser for $14 ($6 off): Instead of wasting money on makeup remover wipes (which can be rough on your skin), or going through hundreds of cotton balls trying to remove your makeup, opt for the Makeup Eraser.

  • Select Mascaras for $10: You should be replacing your mascara every three months or so. Some of these full-sized options usually sell for at least double what they’re going for right now. There’s a similar deal on lipstick.

  • Juvia’s Place Palettes for $12 ($8 off): These palettes are super-pigmented and especially affordable. The brand is also Black-owned.

Many of our favorite independent cosmetics manufacturers are having sales. These are some of our top picks.
