As fate would also have it, the Walmart-exclusive Roku Ultra LT was back on sale at its Cyber Monday pricing the last time we checked: You can order one with free delivery or no-contact pickup from your nearest store for only $59, which is a respectable 25% off its suggested retail price of $79.
Introduced alongside the fancy first-gen Roku Ultra (no “LT”) in Sept. 2019, this digital media player has a quad-core processor that offers smooth HD, 4K, and HDR streaming and comes with two accessories: a smart assistant-compatible Enhanced Roku Voice remote with TV controls and a pair of Roku headphones. (Those are great for when you’re trying to catch up on a show without disturbing or spoiling anything for the rest of your household.) An Ethernet port and 802.11ac dual-band support make it suitable for both wired and wireless streaming of your favorite shows, movies, sports, and music — cable whomst? — and its microSD port gets you extra channel storage.
Because we know you’re wondering: The only real difference between the original Roku Ultra and the Ultra LT is that the latter lacks a USB port. (And just between us, that’s probably not worth the extra $40 you’d have to shell out for the standard version.)
