TL;DR: Enjoy a clear FHD resolution with an HP EliteDisplay E243p Sure View Monitor for $309.99, a 12% savings as of June 22.

One good thing about working from home? No nosy coworkers peeping over your shoulder. That’s a relief, but in your makeshift home office there’s a whole new type of shoulder surfer: your family, which is perhaps even worse. If you want to shield your sensitive company information from them, or just get a little privacy while you work, we’ve got just the thing.

The HP EliteDisplay E243p Sure View Monitor is a 23.8-inch monitor with an integrated privacy screen that’s designed to shield sensitive content from prying eyes. It debuted at CES 2019 and is available for your WFH enjoyment.

The concept of the EliteDisplay Sure View is super simple. At the push of a button, the screen will dim the monitor’s brightness from 260 cd/m2 to 180 cd/m2, which artificially reduces its viewing angles down to about 80 degrees. As the user, this will barely affect you at all, but those meddling kids won’t be able to steal a glance, which will surely prevent tons of annoying questions throughout your workday. Alas, some privacy and peace as you type.

Beyond privacy, this monitor adjusts four different ways for your comfort and convenience. You can vertically tilt it, swivel it, rotate it up to 90 degrees, and even adjust the height for the viewing angle that works best for you. It also boasts a 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution, which allows you to surf the web, binge-watch content, and explore your images, videos, and other files in crisp, clear detail. There are also plenty of input ports, including one DisplayPort 1.2, one D-Sub, one HDMI, and three USB 3.0.

It’s earned itself 4.6 out of 5 stars on HP’s website, which is pretty dang impressive. But you can see for yourself for just $309.99 while it’s on sale, down from $364.
