Please, let this soundtrack win a couple Emmys so more of this type of soundtrack emerges in the zeitgeist.
I’ve never watched the original but have been enamored w/her work sine a fan introduced me to it after learning I was a modern jazz fan.
There’s LOTS of people out there putting together this kind of stuff and they’re amazing, but unless you go looking for it, you’re not going to find it easily.
The best exposure composers like her can possibly find is soundtrack work, but to raise them up, you need to find their own stuff (preferably on their own website,) and buy it THERE, rather than amazon or whatever.
