Invincible season 3 is almost here. That’s a strange sentence to type out but, with the critically-acclaimed Prime Video series set to return on February 6, 2025, it’s less than two months away from debuting on Amazon‘s primary streaming service.
Before Invincible‘s third season is released, then, you better catch up on everything we know about it. Below, you’ll find more details on its episodic release schedule, confirmed cast, trailer, plot rumors, and the animated show’s future.
Full spoilers follow for Invincible season 2 part 1, Invincible season 2 part 2, and the comic books that its TV adaptation are based on. So, proceed with caution, dear reader, if you’re avoiding them pre-release.
Thankfully, season 3 won’t feature a midseason break, either. Speaking to TechRadar before season 2 was released, co-showrunner Simon Racioppa said it “wasn’t the original plan” for Invincible season 2. to have one, but it did all the same. Robert Kirkman, Invincible‘s comics co-creator, later told GamesRadar that the show’s creative team was “well aware of the fact that that [splitting season 2 in two] was not popular”, hence the decision to scrap further midseason breaks.
As for its episodic release schedule, an Amazon MGM Studios press release confirmed Invincible season 3 will launch with a three-episode premiere. New entries will air weekly until the finale on March 13.

Full spoilers follow for Invincible season 2 and its source material.
Here’s who we expect to see (and hear) again in Invincible season 3:
Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson/Invincible
J.K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man
Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson
Gillian Jacobs as Samantha Eve Wilkins/Atom Eve
Walton Goggins as Cecil Stedman
Chris Diamantopoulos as Donald Ferguson
Andrew Rannells as William Clockwell
Seth Rogen as Allen the Alien
Jason Mantzoukas as Rex Sloan/Rex Splode
Ross Marquand as The Immortal and Rudy Connors
Zachary Quinto as Robot
Malese Jow as Katherine Cha/Dupli-Kate
Grey DeLisle as Rachel/Shrinking Ray and Amanda
Kevin Michael Richardson as Monster Girl and The Mauler Twins
Khary Payton as Markus Grimshaw/Black Samson
Jay Pharoah as Zandale Rudolph/Bulletproof
Ben Schwartz as Shapesmith
Mark Hamill as Art Rosenbaum
Peter Cullen as Thaedus
Tatiana Maslany as Telia
Clancy Brown as General Kregg
Calista Flockhart as April Howsam
Shantel Vanshanten as Anissa
Sterling K. Brown as Angstrom Levy
Michael Dorn as Battle Beast
Mahershala Ali as Titan
Everyone up to the final two characters showed up in season 2, so they’ll be back next season. As for Battle Beast and Titan, the Invincible X/Twitter account and season 3’s official trailer confirmed they’ll return, and we expect Dorn and Ali, who voiced these individuals in season 1, to reprise their roles.
There are other supporting cast members who could feature, but the above actors are the most noteworthy – and that includes Brown’s Levy. His return will be a big surprise to anyone who hasn’t read the comics, but we’ll explain why we’ll see him again in our plot section. Vanshanten’s Anissa should be part of the cast, too, as the Viltrumite warrior plays a significant role in Mark’s story from now on.
Then there’s Oliver Grayson, Mark’s half-brother, who, as season 3’s first proper trailer confirmed, will start speaking and acquire his own superpowers next time around. Chatting to CoveredGeekly, Racioppa confirmed someone has been hired to voice Oliver but, while we hear him talk in said trailer, his voice actor hasn’t been revealed yet. We hope other cast additions, such as the overdue debut on Kate’s brother Multi-Paul, will be revealed in due course, too.
However, considering Morgan posted an image on his personal Instagram (see above) with a stack of Invincible Ultimate Collection books, we still think he’s voicing someone – the Viltrumite warrior known as Conquest, perhaps? We’d be okay with that.
As for voice actors we don’t expect to hear again, Zazie Beetz’s Amber Bennett isn’t likely to show up. She broke up with Mark in season 2’s penultimate episode, which also happens in the comics. Amber has a small role to play after they part ways in the source material, but there was a finality to their relationship last season, so we think we’ve seen the last of her.
Invincible season 3 plot speculation
Full spoilers follow immediately for Invincible season 2 and its graphic novels.
Invincible season 3 doesn’t have a plot synopsis yet, but we’ve got a good idea about what’ll happen before it debuts on one of the world’s best streaming services.
One of the most shocking moments – it wouldn’t be Invincible without them – in the season 2 finale was Mark seemingly beating arch-nemesis Angstrom Levy to death (read more in our Invincible season 2 ending explained article). However, while Mark believes he’s killed Angstrom, long-time fans know he’s still alive. No spoilers for when or where he’ll show up next, though.
