Nintendo announced its 2020 Black Friday deals on Nov. 9 — here’s a sneak peek at what’s to come this holiday season:

  • Nintendo Switch system bundle — $299.99 (save $66.99)

  • Select first-party Nintendo Switch games — $39.99 (save $20)

  • Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! $29.99 (save $29.99)

  • Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition — $19.99 (save $10)

If there’s one thing people would’ve brawled over on Black Friday 2020, it would’ve been the Nintendo Switch.

Fortunately (at least from a public safety standpoint), most retailers’ big holiday sales will take place online this year. Instead of scrapping over a console between the end caps of a Walmart aisle at 3 a.m., you’ll have to be one of the first to click a “Place Your Order” button once deals go live.

That doesn’t mean things won’t get a little chancy, especially if resellers’ checkout bots come into play again (like they did this past spring). But the good news is that you’ve got plenty of time to come up with a game plan: Nintendo just revealed its 2020 lineup of Black Friday deals.

The first of its offers will go live Nov. 20, but Nov. 22 is the date you’ll want to circle on your calendar with a fat, red marker — that’s when a new Switch system bundle will go on sale at Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, and Kohl’s for just $299.99, or the list price of the console itself. (We’re calling it now: That’ll be the best Switch deal we’ll see all season.)

Nintendo’s press release also hinted at restocks of both the special-edition Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch and Ring Fit Adventure, as well as upcoming digital deals exclusive to the Nintendo eShop. In other words, keep your eyes peeled for even more savings as Black Friday proper gets closer. (We’ll update this post as they roll in.)

If the anticipation is killing you, keep scrolling for a sneak peek at the absolute best Switch deals Nintendo has planned for the coming weeks in chronological order:

Dare we say it, but: If you need a vacation from your Animal Crossing island, now’s the time to add some new Switch games to your library. Nintendo plans to slash its prices on a number of first-party titles by $20 starting Nov. 22 — they’re usually $59.99 apiece — although many were already on sale at select retailers when we last checked on Nov. 13:

This year’s Black Friday deal to beat is without a doubt this Switch hardware bundle, which includes a standard console with neon red and blue Joy-Cons, a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online individual membership. That’s a $366.98 value altogether, but several major retailers will have it on sale for just $299.99 starting Nov. 22. (Set an alarm for this one — it’s going to sell out faster than a Biddybuggy can zip through Rainbow Road.)

Here’s where you’ll be able to buy it next week (we’ll update this post with more links once stores’ product pages go live):

Amazon | Walmart | Target | Best Buy | GameStop | Kohl’s

Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition: Save $10 starting Nov. 22

There’s no mining *or* crafting in Minecraft Dungeons — this May 2020 release is an action-packed dungeon crawler that has players fighting enemies and hunting for treasure. (Sort of like Diablo or Torchlight, but in a spooky, blocky world, its developers told Mashable.) The “Hero Edition” includes the game itself plus two DLC packs and bonus items, and you can snag it at participating retailers for just $19.99 — a 33% savings.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!: Save 50% starting Nov. 25

Speaking of dirt-cheap games: Both Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Evee! will be half off at select stores starting the day before Thanksgiving, bringing them down to just $29.99 apiece. (Mashable entertainment reporter Kellen Beck penned a glowing review of the Pokémon: Let’s Go experience back in 2018: “It’s prettier, it’s less monotonous, and it scratches that first generation itch I’ve been trying to get at for 20 years,” he wrote. You can read the review in its entirety here.)
