Virtual reality gaming has made its way into the mainstream and headsets are actually accessible and affordable. The Oculus Quest 2 is a popular VR headset that seems to sell out as soon as it’s restocked.
The headset is unavailable at Amazon until Dec. 7, but Walmart is having a special limited quantity restock ahead of Black Friday. You’ll be able to score the Oculus Quest 2 for $299 at Walmart starting Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST.
Mashable’s reviewer gave the Oculus Quest 2 a high rating and wrote, “The Quest 2 is, simply put, VR finally done right.” It’s a stand-alone VR headset, so you don’t need a PC or console to play, and it has sharp graphics and adapts to your movement.
The visuals aren’t where the greatness stops — the headset also features 3D cinematic sound. Plus, you can play with friends and cast what you’re seeing on the headset onto a compatible TV or through the Oculus app.
If you’ve been itching to get an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset, head to Walmart at 7 p.m. ET Nov. 25 to get yours before they sell out again. Maybe even check the site a little early just to be safe.
