Pete Davidson is really carving out a place for himself as Saturday Night Live‘s premiere Eminem impersonator. After recently taking on the rap star’s “Stan” in a sketch that laid into the futility of shopping for a PlayStation 5, Davidson is back now with a new version of “Without Me” that turns its attention to another hot tech story of the moment: NFTs.
Helped by Chris Redd, who takes on the role played by Dr. Dre in the original video, the video runs through all the zany things people are doing with non-fungible tokens. But it’s not until musical guest Jack Harlow arrives that we get a real and informed explanation of what tech’s latest flight of fancy is all about.
As if that’s not enough, we also get Kate McKinnon as Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen in a small but memorable role. Just a great SNL sketch all the way around. Give Pete more Eminem, please.
