Hollywood has been exploding submarines for years now, and sometimes we even get to see those flames flying in slow motion. But what about super slow motion?

In the video above, Gav from The Slow Mo Guys blows up a model submarine with some depth charges and films it at a mind-boggling 28,500 frames per second. You can pretty much see everything: the shockwaves; the joints rippling; the gas ballooning out in a sphere before imploding back in on itself.
