To subscribe, or not to subscribe? That is the question when it comes to Disney+. Sure, this popular streaming service is packed full of exciting content that could keep you and your whole family entertained, but should you take the plunge and make a commitment?
Those stuck on the fence may be about to fall on the side of subscribing, as Marvel Studios’ Loki is set to debut on Disney+ on June 9. The God of Mischief will finally step out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. This original series will stream on Wednesdays exclusively on Disney+.
This new release follows in the footsteps of Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Bad Batch, an original animated series that launched on Disney+ in early May. This series follows a group of elite and experimental clones as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone Wars. Needless to say, there are plenty of reasons to sign up to Disney+ right now.
A monthly subscription to Disney+ costs £7.99 a month, but you could save over 15% by committing for a year. An annual subscription will set you back £79 — a small price to pay for unlimited access to movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, right? This plan also includes access to Star on Disney+, a world of exciting content including Family Guy, MODOK, and ESPN documentaries.
We totally understand that making a commitment to any streaming service is a big deal, especially when there are so many options out there, but with the release of Loki and The Bad Batch on Disney+, things just got a little more straightforward.
