Important news for fans of A24‘s Oscar-decorated film slate: the company has just signed a multiyear “pay-1″ output deal in the U.S. with the HBO and Max brands. What that means is, if you want to stream A24 movies as part of a subscription service, you’ll have use Warner Bros. Discovery’s HBO, Max, and Cinemax.

This deal covers current release titles like Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla, trippy Nicolas Cage drama Dream Scenario, and the Zac Efron-starring wrestling biopic The Iron Claw, as well as Dicks: The Musical, The Zone of Interest, Love Lies Bleeding, Civil War, the 2023 restoration of classic concert film Stop Making Sense, and others.

A Max press release did not specify streaming release dates for these new films, but it did note that “the two companies have additionally extended their licensing deal … between the existing and new library of A24 films, subscribers will have access to more than one hundred A24 titles over the term of the agreement.” This includes last year’s Best Picture winner (among many, many other awards) Everything Everywhere All at Once, as well as Uncut Gems, The Whale, Past Lives, and more.
