If you thought the opening scene of Zack Snyder’s Justice League was a far cry in tone from the 2017 version of the film… well, you’d be correct, but that’s not all.
IGN released an 11-minute video (if that seems a bit long, remember: Justice League) detailing every change between Snyder’s 2021 cut, released March 18, and the 2017 cut ultimately helmed by Joss Whedon. Critics responded favorably to the four-hour Snyder cut, which looks more like the director’s signature style and offers a meatier role for Cyborg (Ray Fisher) in particular.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is now streaming on HBO Max.
