With this kit, you collect your own saliva sample, send it to Ancestry’s lab, and your results will be ready in six to eight weeks. DNA findings will show you your ethnic makeup, regions your family has lived in, and connections to living relatives.
If you opt for an Ancestry subscription, you can build out a detailed family tree and get access to billions of records that could provide insight into your genealogy. You might even be able to find artifacts like your ancestors’ marriage certificates, passports, and more.
