Since beginning her previous tour in 2017, Grande experienced a terrorist attack at a concert, a highly public whirlwind romance and breakup, and the death of her ex-boyfriend. She tears up before a performance in the Netflix trailer, telling her dancers and the rest of her team that Sweetener saved her in 2019. The film version might be exactly what fans need in 2020.
