We’re talking, of course, about the Bissell Little Green, a portable carpet and upholstery cleaner — strangely satisfying videos of it in action have racked up millions of views on the app over the past few months. To use the Little Green, you’ll simply fill its removable tank with warm water and a splash of cleaning solution — a trial-size bottle of Bissell’s Spot and Stain with Febreze formula is included — then press the trigger on its handle to spray that mixture over a spot. After a few minutes, you can go in with the nozzle’s brush to scrub the stain away and suck up any lingering grime. Here’s a quick demo:
For what it’s worth, Walmart customers overwhelmingly agree with TikTok in that it’s a must-buy for tough stains on fabric surfaces like car seats and sofa cushions. (At the time of writing, it had a 4.5/5-star rating on the retailer’s site with 2,000 reviews and counting.) Per Walmart.com reviewer Stephanie:
“I have an awesome dark grey sectional that my family LIVES on. Like 85 lb Goldendoodle, 7yo, 4yo, 2yo, and a husband that farms. IT WAS FILTHY. And to be honest, I never dreamed anything would get it clean. I was just ready to sell it and get something else. *insert the little green machine* 2 hours of work gave me my couch back. Even my husband (who doesn’t comment or brag on much when it comes to cleaning gadgets) said, ‘The couch looks 100% better.'”
