Black Friday is exactly two weeks away.

Not that the calendar means anything to retailers this year, of course — but that’s even more of a reason for you to follow this advice: Instead of waiting until Black Friday to scoop that nice new TV you’ve been eyeing up, buy one now so that you can actually enjoy it on Thanksgiving and the weekend after. Many people will probably devise some sort of virtual hangout with family members they can’t see this year, and it’d be nice to have that Zoom call on your TV rather than a phone.

Retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Samsung, and Dell have been dropping early Black Friday deals for weeks, and the listing should let you know when an item is at its Black Friday price.

Here are our favorite TV deals from Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Dell, organized by brand, then size, then price:

Samsung

OUR TOP PICK: Samsung 58-inch Q60T QLED 4K UHD Smart TV (QN58Q60TAFXZA) — $699.99 (save $200)

Yes, you should buy a QLED TV. We’re that friend. Samsung’s early Black Friday deals are making the splurge a bit more palatable, though. This 58-inch Q60T QLED gets a $200 discount (compared to the 55-inch’s $100 discount) and is a unique happy medium when a 65-inch is definitely overkill. 100% color volume, dual backlighting with automatic tone adjustment, and deeper blacks with HDR10+ all come with the Q60T’s Quantum Dot technology.

LG

OUR TOP PICK: LG 55-inch NanoCell 81 Series 4K Smart TV (55NANO81ANA) — $499.99 (save $150)

LG’s NanoCell TVs have been such a solid choice since their groundbreaking launch in 2017. Think of NanoCell technology as a slight step up from regular LCD or LED, but still more affordable than QLED. Particles are deployed in the screen structure to soak up rogue light wavelengths, boosting saturation and defining color purity. Get the 55-inch 2020 model for less than $500 as an early Black Friday deal at Best Buy.

Other great LG deals:

Sony

OUR TOP PICK: Sony 55-inch Class 750H 4K UHD Smart TV (KD55X750H) $519.99 (save $280)

Finding a decently-sized Sony TV around the $500 price point is clearly a glitch in the simulation, but we’ll take it. Walmart has the 55-inch version of Sony’s 750H 4K TV on sale for $519.99 — fun little side note being that the 49-inch model of the only marginally-better 800H is more expensive. The 750H shines at night, when it can show off its dark color contrasts and decipherable shadows while watching a movie or gaming in a dark room. (The same model is $30 more at Best Buy.)
