President Donald Trump doesn’t love to admit he did anything wrong.

By the Washington Post‘s count, he’s made roughly 18,000 false or misleading claims since taking office.

So that makes this deepfake of a “boss baby” from Jimmy Kimmel Live especially great. Remember that viral video where an adorable toddler denied touching her dog’s food? The good folks at Kimmel’s show placed Trump’s face over the toddlers and used her stubborn denials to show how Trump has repeatedly gotten things wrong about the coronavirus pandemic.

The end result is pretty great. It’s also a little disturbing… but ultimately funny.

Kimmel jokingly pointed out that this was a fake video.

“I want to announce in advance: We did doctor this video,” he said.

It was an apparent reference to a recent controversy he got into with the White House. Kimmel had run a video of Vice President Mike Pence apparently joking about carrying empty boxes of medical gear as a publicity stunt. The host didn’t realize the vice president was joking. Trump called Kimmel “fake news” on Twitter on Mother’s Day in response.

Kimmel did apologize for not realizing Pence was joking about carrying empty boxes of medical supplies. But he did manage to get another jab in as well.

“[It] would appear that @vp was joking about carrying empty boxes for a staged publicity stunt,” he wrote on Twitter. “The full video reveals that he was carrying full boxes for a staged publicity stunt. My apologies. I know how dearly this administration values truth.”
