I had Doctor Who fatigue before Matt Smith’s exit and haven’t watched since, but have wanted to catch up because I think Peter Capaldi and Jodi Whitaker are fantastic actors. That said, that promotional clip for this Flux special seriously dissuaded me- holy Jesus does that look bad. Do I have rose-coloured glasses for the Eccleston/Tennant/Smith eras? The prosthetics might have always been this tier, but shot composition in the clip is some genuinely silly shit for what I remember of Doctor Who.
