GameStop released its Black Friday preview ad on Nov. 9, featuring multiple sales throughout the month of November leading up to the year’s biggest shopping event. Next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be available in limited quantities, plus doorbusters on game bundles, and more.
TOP GAMESTOP BLACK FRIDAY DEALS:
2020 has been a massive year for gaming — next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X officially launch this week, with a bunch of next-gen game releases to boot. All this means that GameStop’s 2020 Black Friday event (or should we say events) is set to be more exciting than ever, and the ad outlining all of their BF festivities just dropped. We can confirm that it’s a good one.
Before we get to the deals, let’s talk about how GameStop’s version of Black Friday 2020 is going to work. It all kicks off on Nov. 14 with the gaming retailer’s “Black Friday Countdown” (ending on Nov. 21), which will feature GameStop’s first drop of discounts, including a one-day-only offer on a three-month Xbox Game Pass subscription for $25 on Nov. 21. Once that ends, GameStop will be releasing even more deals from Nov. 22 to Nov. 25 as a part of their “Early Black Friday” lineup. It all leads up to Nov. 25 to Nov. 27, when the official Black Friday offers start to roll out. In short, you’re going to have a lot of opportunities to save some cash.
Some of the most interesting news to come from GameStop’s Black Friday ad is the inclusion of a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X restock, but unfortunately, they’ll only be available in-store in limited quantities on Nov. 27. We recommend trying to score one online elsewhere before you head to your local GameStop for safety reasons (the pandemic is very much still happening).
Also included in GameStop’s Black Friday plans are deeply discounted prices on individual games (shocker), deals on console bundles, price cuts on accessories from headsets to external hard drives, and stellar offers on online gaming subscriptions.
GameStop is one of the very last retailers to reveal what they have in store for Black Friday 2020, with the likes of Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Macy’s, and Dell unveiling what they have cooking for Black Friday throughout the month of October. Be sure to check out all the retailers and get your Black Friday shopping plans together.
