These are the best Black Friday deals on headphones as of Nov. 16:
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Black Friday is super weird this year. What used to be a pre-crack-of-dawn dash to different stores has turned into a monthlong online shopping extravaganza that began with a Dell ad drop less than a day after Prime Day. (No time to waste, y’all.)
But one thing that isn’t changing in 2020 is the fact that these Black Friday sales are bringing us some of the year’s top deals on headphones from brands like Apple, Samsung Beats, Bose, and Sennheiser — the star of the show, at least so far, being an all-time-high discount on the former’s AirPods Pro.
Here’s what’s caught the Mashable Shopping team’s collective eye at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Kohl’s (yep, Kohl’s) as of Nov. 16:
These “extraordinary” wireless headphones nabbed a Mashable’s Choice Award upon their release in 2017, with former Editor-at-Large Lance Ulanoff heaping praise on their Adaptive Noise Cancellation technology and all-day battery life. (Click here to read his full review.)
The Studio3s normally retail for $349.99, but Kohl’s is running an amazing deal on them for Black Friday: When you order a pair in matte black, white, gray, or midnight for just $279.99 — that’s their lowest price ever on Amazon, where they’re currently sold out — you’ll receive a bonus $50 in Kohl’s Cash that brings your total savings to $120.
Long-lasting and remarkably comfortable, these wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation changed the game when they dropped last fall. (Click here to read Mashable’s official review.)
Normally $249, both Amazon and Walmart have the AirPods Pro on sale for $199.98 this Black Friday — a 20% savings.
If you prefer the standard AirPods (no “Pro”), here’s where to shop this holiday season:
-
Apple AirPods with Charging Case (Wired) — $128.98 (save $30.02) at Amazon and Walmart
-
Apple AirPods with Wireless Charging Case — $159.98 (save $39.02) at Amazon and Walmart
Another Mashable’s Choice Award-winner, the BeatsX are lightweight, workout-friendly earphones from 2017 with Fast Fuel charging and Apple’s W1 chip for easy smartphone pairing. (Relatedly, former Mashable executive editor Damon Beres thought they’re “arguably better” than AirPods after taking a pair for a test drive — that’s no small feat. Click here to read his review.)
They were unavailable at Walmart and Amazon the last time we checked, but Best Buy still has them in stock (and on sale to boot): Grab a pair in black or satin silver for just $49.99, or half off their suggested retail price of $99.99.
