You’re done! This fold isn’t always super neat, but it’s fast and easy, and is a good enough fold to easily see and store your sheets. Especially for sheets I’m storing in a storage bag—more on those below—and with the sheer volume of sheets in my home, I’m happy with good enough.
Ultimately, if you’re stressed about folding your sheets, you need to cut yourself some slack, and keep in mind the fabric of the sheets that you’re folding. More structured sheets like percale can be a little easier to hold in place as you fold them, while softer sheets like bamboo and synthetic nylon can feel like you’re trying to make a shape out of water. Still, with a little patience you can get a pretty solid square shape, or square enough if you’re impatient and still have six more sets of sheets to fold like I do.
