There are plenty of legit reasons to want to see Elon Musk host Saturday Night Live on May 8.
For starters, he’s a deeply awkward and unfunny person — and that level of cringe has its own sort of twisted appeal. Also, people seem to think he might mention dogecoin, so there’s that.
Thankfully, as Musk himself made clear Saturday, it’s now easier than ever to tune into the man who thinks people dying in an effort to colonize Mars is a laugh line — no matter where you live.
“Special link to view SNL outside USA,” wrote the billionaire.
Importantly, that link likely won’t work for U.S. audiences. According to the warning plastered below it when you click through, “Tonight’s live stream of Saturday Night Live with host Elon Musk is only available in select countries and territories.”
If you live in the U.S. and want to watch, the show will be available on NBC.com, the NBC App, YouTube TV, and Hulu Live TV. And, of course, plain old TV for those who still get their live programming from an antenna or traditional cable hookup.
NBC, for its part, is hyping the (ahem) performance.
“‘SNL’ is a global phenomenon and this livestream marks the first time audiences around the world will experience the show simultaneously along with the US,” said Frances Berwick, the chairman of NBCU TV and Streaming, in a statement shared by Alex Weprin of the Hollywood Reporter.

And hey, it might actually be a fun show.
