What: Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Where to watch: Disney+

Whether it’s the debut of a box office film or a new series to stream, fresh Star Wars content will always drum up excitement among diehard fans and casual viewers alike.

While the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series worked to fill in the gaps between Episodes II and III of the Star Wars films, Star Wars: The Bad Batch (which you can find on Disney+) aims to come as both a sequel and a spin-off to the well-loved show.

If you’re a Star Wars fan who hasn’t subscribed to Disney+ yet, what are you waiting for? What are people saying about the show?

While most current Star Wars spin offs receive mixed reviews, the general consensus surrounding Star Wars: The Bad Batch is overall quite promising with most critics suggesting it will make for a very satisfying follow up to The Clone Wars. Here’s what Alexis Nedd had to say in her review:

If there is a limit to how many clones a franchise can support before things get really weird, Star Wars may have been approaching it, but The Bad Batch is a fun, sideways look at what happens when individuals rise from a legion of science fiction sameness.

Note that while Disney+ doesn’t offer a free trial at the moment, a subscription will run you about the same as comparable streaming services like Netflix or Hulu (about $7.99 a month or $79.99 annually).
