If you’ve played every game from Monopoly to Go Fish during all these hours at home, it’s time to shake up your household a bit. In lieu of a change of scenery, up the excitement level of game night: Snag the new card game Farting Frenchies and battle your bubble for the Top Dog title.
It sounds ridiculous because it is. But that doesn’t mean it’s not fun. This energetic card game was funded in less than a half-hour on Kickstarter with an impressive $76,000. So, that tells you all you need to know.
This is a game about dogs, farts, and strategic heists. Each player gets four playing cards and one dog card to start. The objective is to collect Stink cards to feed your Frenchies. Once you have enough Stink cards to match the level on the Frenchie card, you have successfully made your Frenchie fart. You get to collect it and the points. Along the way, you can diffuse another player’s dog with a “good smell” card or even steal their dog with an action card. The game gets more fun — and competitive — with each card you play. Plus, the adorable pups and comical cards make it that much better. The person with the biggest Farty Dog Army at the end (when the End Card is drawn) is deemed Top Dog. You win bragging rights until the next time you play.
