The DCU/Aquaman

During a recent interview with Comic Book, Patrick Wilson stated he’s “never met” James Gunn but believes his two Aquaman films “said what [they] needed to to say with Orm.”

No, never met him. So I have no relationship there. Obviously Peter [Safran], his partner, is our producer [on The Conjuring: Last Rites], so I’ve known Peter forever. I mean, we said what we needed to say with Orm, so yeah, I love the guy, love the character.

Saw XI

Speaking with Screen Rant, James Wan promised he’s not taking his return to the Saw franchise “lightly,” as he hopes to “find a new way” for the series with “a fresh start.”

It’s a bit early to talk about it, but needless to say, it’s one that I am very excited about. Just because I really haven’t had much to do with the franchise since the very early days.

I guess it’s challenging and exciting because I get to come back to the movie that started my career – the career for myself and Leigh Whannell. I’m not taking this very lightly at all, and I definitely want to find a way for the next movie to be respectful of what fans love about the franchise, whilst finding a new audience for it.

It’s a 20-year-old franchise, and I do think finding a fresh start to some degree is important, while still staying true to the world that we have created.

Scream 7

Scream 1-4 composer Marco Beltrami revealed he’s back to score Scream VII in a new Instagram post.

House of the Dragon

During another recent interview with Screen Rant, Olivia Cooke confirmed House of the Dragon wraps filming its third season this October.

We started in April, so we are done in October. We’re over halfway and it’s massive. It is actually ridiculous. It’s actually ridiculous and it’s a lot of practical, huge stunt work. It’s mad.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi

Finally, Ewan McGregor teased watching “all of the Clone Wars” is “his homework” during his recent appearance at Fan Expo Canada.
