You might think Cameo, with its tagline “get personalized messages from your favorite celebrities,” is only useful for a birthday shoutout or breakup speech from a B- or C-list star. That’s untrue, however, and fans of the comedian John Mulaney proved it.

One of Mulaney’s more popular bits is from his 2012 special New in Town, where he imitates rapper Ice-T as Detective Fin Tutuola on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit

Mulaney riffs on Tutuola explaining the concept on sex addiction — “You mean like when someone drinks too much? Or snorts cocaine? Or bets the house on the ponies?” — and wishes he could watch another four hours.

Mulaney said his favorite episode of SVU would be Tutuola naming more examples until the end credits rolled and “Executive Producer Dick Wolf” popped up. Now, thanks to Cameo and Facebook fan group John Mulaney Petuniaposting, Mulaney has finally gotten his wish eight years later:

Sure enough, Ice-T rattles off different addictions (“When someone smokes too many cigarettes or like, when someone shops too much with credit cards, or when someone plays too many scratchy lotteries…”) as the screen fades and Dick Wolf’s name pops up.

While Ice-T isn’t currently available on Cameo (thus, we can’t confirm what a video from him costs), one Reddit user said he charges $500. Honestly? Much more worth it than a birthday shoutout.
