It’s been more than a year since the last, major Nintendo Direct — which fell on Sept. 4, 2019 if you can believe it — so there was a lot of ground to cover in the latest. And cover it Nintendo did.

The highlights, of course, go to the company’s titans: Mario and Zelda. Mario Golf is announced, and it’s coming to Switch on June 25. We’re also getting Skyward Sword on July 16, perhaps the most underplayed (and hotly debated) of all the Legend of Zelda games. That latter-day Wii release from 2011, later delivered to Wii U in 2016, promises to bring tweaked controls and a freshened up look on Switch.

There was also a surprising “one more thing” to cap off the presentation: Splatoon 3! Nintendo’s multiplayer squid ink shooter is coming back with more of a punk aesthetic sometime in 2022. Yeah, it’s gonna be a wait for that one.

The otherwise stacked 50-minute Direct brought plenty of other news to get excited about, including an Age of Calamity add-on; a whole mess of remasters and re-releases, including the Ninja Gaiden trilogy, Tales from the Borderlands, and Apex Legends; as well as first looks at newcomers like Neon White. Enjoy the buffet, Nintendo fans.
