Country music star Morgan Wallen, Saturday Night Live‘s latest musical guest, was actually supposed to appear on the show back in October. But he screwed himself out of the opportunity after it came out on TikTok that he’d recently attended a crowded house party with no mask on.
Wallen was quick to acknowledge his screw-up at the time and now, two months later, he’s on SNL for real and gamely making fun of his dumb and careless mistake. In this sketch that takes us back to the October party, Wallen is confronted by versions of himself from one month (Jason Bateman) and two months (Bowen Yang) into the future, plus a weirdo “weed guy” played by Pete Davidson.
