Joe Keery’s Stranger Things character is so lovable that it’s almost painful to watch him in this clip.
Taken from the upcoming Death to 2020, a Netflix mockumentary from Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker, the above video features Keery as a beanie-wearing hipster known as Duke Goolies, who works as a content provider/mixologist who’s more than happy to share his insights into the coronavirus during an interview.
“Listen, I don’t want to be Mr Mansplain, but I kind of saw this coming because I was following coronavirus back before, you know, pre-Wuhan days,” says Keery/Goolies. “When it was still inside of bats.”
Keery is just one of a host of actors — including Samuel L. Jackson, Lisa Kudrow, and Kumail Nanjiani — who are set to appear in Death to 2020, which drops on Netflix Dec. 27.
