Being 15 is hard enough without a past full of pain and secrets. The trailer for Netflix’s Ginny and Georgia introduces a self-proclaimed Gilmore-esque mother-daughter duo trying to make themselves at home in a new town where the past seems determined to catch up with them.
Brianne Howey plays mother Georgia alongside Antonia Gentry as daughter Ginny (shoutout to Friday Night Lights‘ Scott Porter as a conspicuously hot young mayor) as they try to disentangle their friendship, love, similarities, and differences. But there’s more to either of them than meets the eye (the trailer points to Georgia’s especially dark past), but the one thing they’d fight for no matter what is each other.
