TL;DR: As of Sept. 8, the new Zelda game Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is available to pre-order on Nintendo.com and in the Nintendo eShop.

It’s not quite the Breath of the Wild sequel everyone’s been clamoring for, but you know what? We’ll take it.

In a surprise announcement, Nintendo revealed Sept. 8 that its new Zelda game Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is coming out Nov. 20 for the Switch console.

According to the game’s official website, Hyrule Warriors will set in the same universe as BotW — specifically, 100 years earlier amid the events of the Great Calamity. (As a refresher, that’s the big fight that left Hyrule in ruins, the four Champions dead, the Divine Beasts and Guardians possessed, and Link sealed away for a memory-wiping Slumber of Restoration. Fun!)

Nintendo promises a firsthand look at “the struggle that brought Hyrule to its knees” as players battle hordes of enemies as characters like Link and Zelda either alone or with a teammate via local co-op multiplayer. Exciting new cutscenes will also shed some light on the Champions, the King of Hyrule, and the princess herself.

The digital edition of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is now available for pre-order on Nintendo.com and in the Nintendo eShop for $59.99, and anyone who snags a copy ahead of time will receive a Lucky Ladle that Link can use in battles. Smash the blue button below to lock yours down.
