The way people have been camping outside The Container Store lately, you’d think they were giving away free Playstation 5s. (If only.)

In reality, the main attraction is an exclusive collection of storage containers and canisters launched last year by a five-year-old Nashville-based home organization company called The Home Edit (THE for short).

THE founders Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin and their one-year-old product line are the stars of a new Reese Witherspoon-produced Netflix series called Get Organized with The Home Edit, whose first season sees them turning the unkempt spaces of celebrity and everyday clients into meticulously categorized and color-coded odes to decluttering.

The general consensus? It’s soothing in a weird way, like a good ASMR video. It’ll also make your wallet itch.

In a matter of weeks, Get Organized has swiftly approached KonMari levels of hype, only instead of discarding things that don’t spark joy, THE’s new recruits are stocking up — specifically, on clear, stackable storage bins and hand-lettered labels that emulate its highly stylized approach to tidying up. As Mashable’s Alison Foreman reported, “unusually long lines” have been spotted outside of Container Stores nationwide in the wake of Get Organized‘s Sept. 9 premiere, and many products from THE’s collection have sold out online.

But don’t panic — there’s still hope yet for your pantry, closet, or fridge even if you can’t track down THE’s branded organizational supplies, which are mostly similar to products that have been on the market for a while. We managed to scrounge up some copycats for some of its signature products on Amazon, many of which are cheaper than their sold-out THE equivalents, and you don’t have to spend $100 to get free shipping. (We’re here for it.)

Featuring a convenient pouring mouth and four-sided locking lids with silicone seals for freshness, these slim, 213-ounce cereal (or pasta) containers made from food-grade plastic are dishwasher-safe, unlike THE’s Cereal Canister. (The vast majority of the plastic storage bins from THE’s Container Store collection are “hand-wash only.”) Plus, they come with 24 sticker labels and a set of five measuring cups.

THE’s version retails for $21.99 for one (and it’s currently sold out on The Container Store’s website), which makes this pair from Amazon a steal at just $24.99 altogether. Be sure to tick the box next to the orange “Coupon” flag on the product page before you add them to your cart — it’ll take $3 off their $27.99 MSRP.

Maximize the real estate on your kitchen shelves with this pair of space-saving plastic bins, which get high ratings from Amazon reviewers for their durable, crystal-clear construction and easiness to clean.

THE’s Stacking Pantry Bin is also out of stock on The Container Store’s website, where it usually retails for $17.99, but this copycat version is still available on Amazon: Get a pair of them for $26.99.

Ideal for those tricky-to-organize spaces in deep pantries and low cabinets/vanities, these oblong storage bins come with built-in handles so they’re easy to carry.

The $12.99 Narrow Pantry Bin from THE’s Container Store collection is sold out online. (Notice a theme here?) Meanwhile, Amazon’s dupe is in stock and on sale: Get a pair of them for $22.99 — that’s 12% off their $25.98 MSRP.

This 8″ x 8″ x 6″ plastic bin is a near-perfect dupe of THE’s bestselling All-Purpose Bin, which — you guessed it — is sold out online.

Amazon will give it to you for $18.88, which is a whole 10 cents less than what THE’s version costs.

Measuring in at 14.5″ x 8″ x 6″ (the perfect size for the pull-out shelves in most bottom freezers), these deep plastic storage bins are basically a divider-less version of THE’s Divided Freezer Bins.

THE’s version isn’t sold out on The Container Store’s website (yet), but we’d recommend buying Amazon’s copycat anyway — it’s a much better deal. You can get a set of four on sale right now for just $49.99 (a $19 savings), which works out to $12.50 each, or about $5 less than what THE charges.

Amazon markets this pull-out drawer made from BPA- and chlorine-free plastic as a storage option for shoes and shirts, but we don’t see why you couldn’t use them for things like produce and snacks instead, à la THE’s (slightly shorter) Divided Fridge Drawer.

Order one from Amazon for $17.99 — that’s $2 cheaper than the one THE makes.

Need an easy fix for a cluttered spice cabinet or canned goods stockpile? Enter: this 11-inch tiered shelf. It’s about half as wide as THE’s $29.99 3-Tier Shelf (sold out online), which is expandable up to 19 inches, but you can buy two of Amazon’s version and still come out ahead.

Hit the blue button below to snag one for only $11.59.

The raised edges on this 9-inch turntable prevent items from falling off when you take it for a spin. Feel free to use it in your pantry, on your countertop, or even in your bathroom or office to keep odds and ends organized.

THE’s 9-inch Lazy Susan is one of the most popular items in its Container Store collection, so we weren’t surprised to see it listed as “out of stock” on the retailer’s website. Amazon’s almost identical dupe is still up for grabs, though, and better yet, it’s on sale: Grab one for just $13.57, or 15% off. (For comparison’s sake, the one made by THE normally costs $15.99.)

9. Vinyl labels (“mega set” of 157 stickers): $14.95

Sticker labels done up in Clea from THE’s handwriting font are one of the brand’s signatures, but at $3 apiece, they can get pricey fast. (And that’s just for pre-printed labels — custom, made-to-order ones go for $7 each.)

For a smarter buy, opt for this bestselling “mega set” of vinyl labels that includes 157 vinyl labels for spices, dry goods, cleaning supplies, crafts, and more — Amazon currently has it on sale for $14.95 (or 25% off), which works out to about 10 cents per sticker.

Made from 100% acrylic (translation: they won’t scratch up your woodwork), these 8″ x 12″ dividers are designed for shelves 0.75 to 0.95 inches thick. Just slip one on and boom — you’ve got a minimalist storage solution for sweaters, towels, and linens.

THE charges $10.99 for just one of its Clear Shelf Dividers (and they’re out of stock online — shocker), but a two-pack of the copycat we found on Amazon will run you only $17.99, or about $9 each. (The four- and six-packs are even better deals, FYI.)

Note: THE doesn’t sell its own versions of these next two products as part of its official Container Store collection, but since they’re both featured heavily in most of its projects (and recommended in the “Shop” section of THE’s website), we decided to include them in this list.

These synthetic wicker storage bins with fabric liners make convenient catch-alls for cosmetics, keys, coins, toys, and trinkets, and come in your choice of three colors: beige, brown, or gray. (THE primarily uses the latter in its projects, if you’re trying to perfectly replicate that style.)

The woven bins THE specifically recommends cost $24.99 to $29.99 each, depending on the size, but you can get this three-piece set on Amazon for just $28.99 altogether.

Similar to the ones that make frequent appearances in THE’s revamped pantries and closets, these 13” x 8.4” x 7.1” storage baskets are made from 100% natural seagrass that’s hand-woven over iron frames for extra sturdiness.

THE’s preferred version costs $39.99, but you can get a two-pack of these on Amazon for only $41.99, or about $21 apiece.

A New York Times bestseller, THE’s first book (published in March 2019) is billed as “an accessible, room-by-room guide to establishing new order in your home.” Also of note: It comes with a starter set of labels.

The Home Edit is still listed at its suggested retail price of $24.99 on The Container Store‘s website, but Amazon’s got it on sale for a mere $13.29 — that’s a 47% savings.

Released in mid-September, The Home Edit Life promises to “go beyond the pantry and bookshelf to show you how to contain the chaos in all aspects of your life, from office space and holiday storage to luggage and pet supplies.”

Amazon has this one on sale, too: Order a copy for just $17.10, or 40% off its $28.50 MSRP (which is what The Container Store is charging).

Happy organizing!
