Leave this on my doorstep and get the hell outta here.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the brutally slapstick Christmas classic Home Alone, Disney commissioned cake designer Michelle Wibowo to spend over 300 hours creating a 1.7-metre by 1.25-metre gingerbread house in the shape of the McCallister’s permanently Christmas-themed Chicago home.

Go easy on the Pepsi near this adorable feat of confectionery engineering, seen in the video created by Disney above. For the McCallister’s overly-windowed house (33 in total), Wibowo included some great detail from the film including the characters, a Little Nero’s pizza delivery car with 14 pizza boxes, the Wet Bandits’ Oh-Kay Plumbing and Heating van, Kevin’s treehouse with tyre swing, the M-stamped door handle which would brand Harry for life, and Kevin himself face-planted in the snow after his staircase ride. There are no booby traps included with this house, just one dastardly paint can as a reference.

The gingerbread house will be displayed at the Oak Centre for Children and Young People at The Royal Marsden in Surrey, one of the largest comprehensive children and young people’s cancer centres in Europe.

Home Alone was released on Dec. 7, 1990 (seriously), and is now streaming on Disney+.
