In 2020, we learned how to have nice restaurant-level happy hours at home. In 2021, we’re bringing the bar TVs to our own patios. The Terrace is Samsung’s QLED partial sun outdoor TV, made specifically to portray the vivid colors and crisp blacks that are typically hard to see in the sun. It’s equipped with anti-glare technology and has an IP55-weather-resistant durability rating.

OUR TOP PICK: LG 75-inch NanoCell 85 Series 4K UHD Smart TV (75NANO85UNA) — $1,299.99 (save $400)
The NanoCell TVs normally strapped with meager discounts are treating us recently. This particular mammoth model is seeing one of the best price slashes — its discount doubles that of a same-size model that’s just one tier below it. Since 2017, LG’s NanoCell TVs have been a solid choice that we keep coming back to. The technology builds on LCD and LED by deploying particles to soak up light and boost color saturation, while still staying out of the QLED price range.

OUR TOP PICK: Sony 77-inch A9G Master Series OLED Smart TV (XBR77A9G) — $3,999.99 (save $500)
The XL version of one of Sony’s slickest TVs is nearly back to its holiday pricing. Even so, it’s still not exactly the cheapest 77-inch out there — but cinephiles who are wasting away due to missing movie theaters deserve this viewing quality in their living room. This OLED masterpiece is armed with Sony’s “best processor ever” and uses Acoustic Surface Audio+ sound to bring concert hall-like sound to each scene.

OUR TOP PICK: RCA 65-inch 4K QLED Smart Roku TV (RTRQ6522-US) — $492.22 (save $207.77)
Budget QLEDs were a big theme in the 2020 TV market, and we’re really seeing it come to fruition with this stellar deal from RCA. A 65-inch TV for less than $500 is notable even when it’s just traditional LED — but RCA has managed to pack quantum dot nanocrystal technology and 100% color volume into a package that the average household can still afford.
