  • AWAIT

  • DRAPE

My second day of using a random starter rather than my three set opening words went about as well as it did yesterday – by which I mean it was close to a disaster. Today, I ended up needing eight guesses to solve the four answers. And again, that was on a day when it shouldn’t have been too tricky today; there’s a repeated E in SWEET, but no other major complications.

I guess the conclusion here is that I’ve had my strategy for years for a reason: it works! I’ll give it one more go tomorrow, but that’s about it.
