Things felt weird when we finally reached March a few weeks ago. How could we be a year into Covid already?
But because time isn’t real, March flew by in a snap, and we’re planning for yet another month of safe binge-watching. This April, we’re looking forward to the fourth season of The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu, Big Shot with John Stamos on Disney+, and a juicy slew of classic films on Netflix including Legally Blonde and Insidious.
Obviously, The Falcon and the Winter Solider will be our Friday go-to for the whole month. Just as obviously, we’ll be catching it all in 4K. You should, too — here are the TVs on sale to consider for spring streaming.
Samsung
OUR TOP PICK: Samsung 75-inch Q60T QLED 4K UHD Smart TV (QN75Q60TAFXZA) — $1,299.99 (save $400)
Tucked away on the landing page for Samsung’s Discover Spring event (buried in the Galaxy Buds and tablet bundles) are Samsung’s spring TV deals, and they’re really good. Anyone looking to upgrade from their four-year-old bottom-tier 4K to QLED can do so without breaking the bank. This particular discount bring’s Samsung’s entry-level QLED (75 inches, no less) down to just over $1,000.
LG
OUR TOP PICK: LG 75-inch NanoCell 85 Series 4K UHD Smart TV (75NANO85UNA) — $1,399 (save $300)
It’s not rare to see discounts on the NanoCell line, but it is rare for those discounts to top $50 or $100 off. Since 2017, LG’s NanoCell TVs have been a solid choice that we keep coming back to. The technology builds on LCD and LED by deploying particles to soak up light and boost color saturation, while still staying out of the QLED price range. This one stretches that beautiful upscaled quality across 75 inches — so if you’re still viewing on a 55-inch, the price to size up ain’t half bad.
Sony
OUR TOP PICK: Sony 75-inch X750H Series 4K UHD Smart TV (KD75X750H) — $898 (save $401.99)
The X750H kicks off Sony’s stellar mid-range line of 4K TVs. Going with a bigger display like this one could help mitigate its shallow viewing angles — compared to its pricier siblings, at least. However, it is armed with the same processor and 4K X-Reality PRO database as the X800H and X900H, using an algorithm to upscale all content to as-close-to-4K as possible. Sony’s Triluminous display seals the deal.

OUR TOP PICK: Vizio 70-inch M-Series Quantum LED 4K UHD Smart TV (M706x-H3) — $679.99 (save $120)
The MQ6 M-Series is an upgrade over the original M-Series from 2019, seeing improvements in HDR brightness and and a laggy interface (though HBO Max and Sling TV still aren’t a part of that interface). At any rate, it’s one of the cheapest TVs to bring full-array local dimming to the table, and that’s not nothing.
