Alongside a host of iconic commercials, the Super Bowl is also the debut spot for a whole host of blockbuster movie trailers.
This year has actually seen an early release for a couple of big summer 2025 trailers that we’d have expected to see during the game with both Jurassic World: Rebirth and Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Steps dropping previews last week which you can check out below.

You might think one of the biggest sporting events of the year would be behind a paywall – but no!
The Fox-Tubi deal in the US means that American fans can watch and stream Super Bowl 59 for free. The big game is also free on ITV/ITVX in the UK (previous Super Bowls aired free on the BBC). It’s also free in Australia (7Mate/7Plus) and in Mexico (TV Azteca/Azteca 7).
Some 18 million Canadians will have to pay to watch Super Bowl 2025, though.
As for the viewing figures, when the Eagles met the Chiefs at Super Bowl 2023, the audience peaked at 114.21 million viewers according to Nielsen. This year it set to eclipse that with the NFL’s marketing team predicting the ‘most-watched Super Bowl ever’.

The Philadelphia Eagles have today activated Brandon Graham available for Super Bowl 2025 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Febuary 9 at the Superdome.
“We have activated DE Brandon Graham from Injured Reserve, elevated FB Khari Blasingame and LB Nicholas Morrow for the game, and have placed OL Nick Gates on Injured Reserve.”
“I’m feeling good,” 36-year-old Graham told reporters at Monday’s NFL’s opening night. “I’m excited to be able to play in this game. Just enjoying the moment.”
Graham, who suffered a triceps injury during the season, should be a boost Philly’s defense against the Chiefs.

NFL commissioner ‘welcomes’ President Trump to Super Bowl
In response to the news of President Trump’s attendance on Sunday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has said he “welcomes” the president to the game.
“We welcome the president of the United States, of course,” he told BBC Sport. “Having him come is something that we’re prepared for. We’ve been working with his people as well as security and making sure that we get him in and out safely and on his schedule.
“We’re looking forward to having him, and I know he’s a big football fan so I know he’s looking forward to being here.”

You bet. Travis Kelce is one half of basically America’s biggest power couple, as he’s currently dating huge popstar Taylor Swift.

Super Bowl commercials are as much a part of the big day as touchdowns and Taylor Swift rumors.
Each 30-second TV segment costs around $7 million.
This year’s lineup includes newbies Tubi, Häagen-Daz, Ritz crackers, Instacart and Totina’s Pizza Rolls.

✅ 2 SkyCams will deliver “sweeping views of all the action on the field,” including a Super Slowmo / 4K SkyCam for the first time.
✅ 5.5 hours of live pregame coverage on Fox beginning at 1pm ET on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb 9).
✅ 9 hours of live Spanish-language pregame coverage on gameday courtesy of Fox Deportes.
✅ 18 pylon cams will provide “pin-point perspectives” from the endzones.
✅ 48 microphones will capture the sound from the stadium, players and officials.
✅ 149 cameras total will cover Super Bowl 2025 and the pregame, including 24 robotic camera, 23 high resolution cameras and 7 augmented reality cameras.

Who are the Super Bowl announcers?
Super Bowl 2025 will be the 1st time in the broadcast booth for “Fox NFL lead analyst” and 7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady. Brady will call the Super Bowl with lead play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.
NFL 2024-25 is the first season of Brady’s 10-year, $375 million contract – yep, you read right – with Fox. The former quarterback has been panned by viewers, many of whom have criticised his color commentary.
To his immense credit, Brady has been ‘brutally honest’ about his own stumbles:
“To use your voice and your vision for a live television audience, there’s a lot of adrenaline in that. It was very different from when I played where I would see all these things, I just didn’t have to verbalize them.
“I think the mistakes that I’ve made, and I’ve made plenty, I’ve learned from all of them,’ he told reporters on Wednesday (per Sports Illustrated).
When is the Super Bowl halftime show?
Good question. Kendrick Lamar and SZA will perform this year’s halftime mini-concert at halftime. The exact time hinges on the on-field action but as the first half of the Super Bowl typically takes 90 minutes, we can hazard a guess at the schedule….

What is the venue for Super Bowl 2025?
Philadelphia Eagles vs Kansas City Chiefs takes place at Ceasers Superdome, New Orleans. Sunday will be the 11th time that ‘Nawlins’ has hosted the Super Bowl since 1970. This will be the second time these teams have met in the big game; the Chiefs came out on top with a thrilling 38-35 win two years ago.
The Superdome is the home of the New Orleans Saints and has a capacity of 83,000 spectators.
