Vizio’s OLED is among the best-looking TVs you’ll find for the money. It has excellent gaming performance (up to 120 frames per second at 4K resolution on the latest consoles), and the deep blacks make everything from shows to films look gorgeous and lifelike.
If you have a smaller room or you’re looking for the world’s largest computer monitor, check out this gorgeous entry-level OLED from LG, which has deep blacks and astonishing highlights.
Sony’s OLEDs are some of the prettiest TVs that money can buy. If you’re a regular viewer in dark rooms, you’ll notice the perfect black levels, gorgeous colors, and excellent processing making every film and TV show you love look better than ever.
If you have a space with curated design and you don’t want a TV getting in the way, Samsung’s Frame models are a great option. The YAS-209 is an excellent soundbar that sounds great and is easy to use. It has Amazon’s Alexa voice control onboard, so you can play music, check the weather, and even set timers with ease. It’s been down to this price a couple other times since August, but this is as cheap as it gets.
This soundbar is one of the most expensive ones we feature, and for good reason. It’s our pick for best luxury soundbar, with some of the most advanced audio processing we’ve heard from a single bar. It excels at projecting sound around the room and making you feel like you have a surround system even when you don’t.
The Polk React (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is among our favorite soundbars, thanks to its excellent Amazon Alexa integration. You can use Amazon’s voice assistant to easily set timers or play music. The bar even has modular speakers and a subwoofer available as stand-alone extras, so you can upgrade to full surround sound later.
Vizio’s Atmos soundbar shoots well above its price point when it comes to sound quality. It’s a small 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos system, but it has a dedicated subwoofer and rear surrounds that provide you with totally immersive sound. You’ll love it for a more theater-like experience at home. It’s been dropping in price since October, when it was at $550.
This is a screaming deal on a great surround sound system from Vizio. You get dedicated wireless surround speakers and a dedicated wireless subwoofer, plus support for Dolby 5.1. It’s cheaper than most bars without surround speakers, and it sounds better too.
Roku’s Streambar is a great combination of a mini soundbar and streaming device with Roku OS onboard, making it the perfect device to pair with smaller, older TVs.
If you don’t have the room for a full-fledged surround sound system with dedicated speakers and a subwoofer, this compact soundbar will send sound waves bouncing around your room to approximate the standard Dolby Atmos experience.
Samsung’s soundbar/subwoofer combo options are often a bit overpriced compared to the competition from Vizio and others. This Cyber Monday, that’s not as true, thanks to this solid deal on a bar and wireless subwoofer that features DTS:X and Dolby 5.1 support.
Streaming Devices and Services

If you want to watch your favorite shows and movies on a big screen, just plug this streaming stick into the HDMI port. It has all the latest Roku features, with support for HDR and Dolby Vision. There’s also this older model for $40 ($20 off) that comes with a headphone jack built into the remote control, so you can listen with any set of cans. (A pair of earbuds is also included.)
We’re big fans of this dongle (8/10, WIRED Recommends) because it can easily help you access nearly all streaming apps. There’s even built-in Google Assistant for easy voice search, and you can still cast from your phone as with the old Chromecast dongles.
If you like Amazon’s ecosystem, this is a good deal on a good streaming stick. The Fire Stick 4K interface isn’t as smooth as Google or Roku, but it’s still totally decent. If you enjoy using Alexa elsewhere in your home, you’ll like its Alexa voice control features.
Hulu has become one of our favorite streaming services, with a huge library of popular shows (including many former Netflix titles that it picked up), as well as live TV offerings. The current deal of an entire year of ad-supported Hulu for $12 is available to both new and returning subscribers.
