A previous problem with the Grip cases was that the rubber would get worn out easily since it protruded from the case. Speck redesigned the grips, and they now go inward instead, so there is no rubber that will get worn out and peel. The unique concave grip actually does work — it’s one of the grippiest cases I’ve used in the past, making it hard to drop.
The Presidio Grip 2 is also very protective overall, and it doesn’t have a bulky profile. It’s slim, lightweight, and comes in several fun colors to choose from. You also get precise cutouts, tactile clicky buttons, and MagSafe.
