****Doing my best to not spoil anything, but spoilers ahead****
I really enjoyed the side quests, mythical creatures, premise of the movie, and the acting, but then the ending came and I just threw my hands up in a WTF motion because it ended that way. None of the side quest characters, or conflict that arose throughout the movie seem to tie in to anything and it just ended with him dying after a Twilight style dream sequence. Normally I love A24 movies, even the more out there weird ones, but I just couldn’t get over the ending.
