The 2020 gaming landscape was punctuated by huge hits (and even bigger misses), so it should go without saying that The Last of Us Part II’s Game of the Year Award win at Dec. 10’s virtual Game Awards was a pretty damn big deal.
From a savings perspective, what’s an even bigger deal is the fact that as of Dec. 18, Amazon has listed TLOU2 on sale for a mere $29.83 — that’s a whole 50% off its suggested retail price of $59.99, which is its biggest discount since its June 19 release. Playable on the Playstations 4 and 5, TLOU2 is a Naughty Dog action-adventure game that picks up five years after the events of its 2013 predecessor in a post-pandemic (!) United States. As its protagonist Ellie, you’ll have to shoot, stab, and stealth your way through hordes of rabid, infected enemies on an emotionally wrecking quest for vengeance.
