TL;DR: The Ninja Foodi Pro 5-in-1 (with a built-in smart probe) is on sale for $159.99, which is its lowest price ever on Amazon and a savings of $110.

There are a lot of food items associated with the end of summer and fall: Fries from your favorite carnival, BBQ ribs from your annual Labor Day party, or that massive burger from your favorite concession stand at halftime.

All of your favorite food events might be taking the year off, but there’s no reason that you can’t put on a flame-print button-up shirt, embarrass your family with some Guy Fieri impressions, and whip up all of those recipes yourself. The Pro model of the Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 comes with a built-in Smart Probe thermometer, and it’s never been cheaper on Amazon than it is right now. Regularly over $260, you can save $110 and snag it for $159.99.

The “5-in-1” part means the Foodi covers the functions of five appliances: It can grill, roast, air crisp, bake, and dehydrate. The 4-quart crisper basket is essential for a load of fries, chicken wings, and whatever other apps that can be air fried. The 6-quart basket can grill four steaks or pork loins simultaneously with little to no smoke, and for Thanksgiving, toss a 6-pound turkey (or just the turkey breast) in there. If you’ve been eyeing a few appliances to cure your quarantine boredom, the Foodi takes care of a few while taking up the space of one.

The Smart Probe’s usefulness is obvious with all of those meats, but will also prove handy when taking advantage of the Foodi’s dehydrator function: To ensure that your jerky hits a certain internal temperature to kill bacteria (sans curing salt), stick the probe into the jerky or closely between two slivers. It should read 165 degrees Fahrenheit for poultry and 160 degrees for other meats.
