The Next Web (TNW) is making a bold move: its flagship conference is relocating to London, placing TNW’s main annual event at the centre of one of the world’s most powerful technology and investment ecosystems.
The move marks a significant moment for TNW and signals a broader evolution of the brand’s global events strategy.
A new concept: TNW Gathering
In 2026, TNW Gathering will take place across a select list of international locations:
- Amsterdam
- Monaco
- New York
- Bucharest
- Helsinki
- Lisbon
Each Gathering is intentionally small, prioritising meaningful conversations, trusted relationships, and long-term collaboration over scale.
TNW Conference London: public tickets, curated access
While TNW Gathering remains private by design, TNW Conference London will be open to the public, with tickets available for purchase.
At this stage, ticket sales are taking place privately, through trusted networks of founders and senior technology leaders. One of the communities contributing to this early access is tekpon, which connects a large number of SaaS founders and tech executives aligned with TNW’s audience.
Why conferences still matter
Alexandru Stan, founder of tekpon, believes conferences create impact well beyond the stage:
“I am a big believer in conferences, because their social impact is far greater than people imagine. This is where lifelong friendships are formed, partnerships are built, and businesses grow. I met my wife at a business conference.”
An evolution of the TNW ecosystem
TNW has long been a global network of founders, operators, and investors.
With its flagship conference now based in London and the launch of TNW Gathering, TNW is expanding how this network connects combining scale with intimacy, and visibility with depth.
This next chapter reinforces TNW’s ambition to create high-trust environments where real relationships are built and meaningful decisions are made
