Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood rings up Ghostbusters for their latest haunted house announcement. The annual Halloween events kick off Friday, August 30 at Universal Studios Orlando, and Thursday, September 5 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The all-new experience inspired by Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire follows up HHN’s past houses inspired by the original Ghostbusters film. Don’t worry, this house will still feature your fave OG characters (including Ray Stanz) who played a role in the franchise’s most recent film. They’ll just be joined for the spooky fun by the new Spengler squad in a house that will feature familiar locations like the Firehouse alongside the new Ghostbusters lab HQ.

Take a look at the official announcement below from Universal Studios:
The house’s official description breaks down some of the movie moments fans will be able to experience: “As guests venture through the haunted houses, they will find themselves in the sinister world of the supernatural, from Ray’s Occult Books shop to the Ghostbusters’ new high-tech lab and containment facility to the dank New York City sewer system.” There’s more: “Fans will embark on this petrifying journey alongside the Ghostbusters, encountering iconic ghosts who slime and nefarious villains who are out for revenge—all while trying to escape an army of ghastly creatures bent on cracking bones and turning their veins into rivers of ice. As they navigate their way through freezing and frightening conditions, the Ghostbusters will need their wit and humor to defend the city they love from a terror too chilling to believe.” Frozen Empire takes the ghost hunting up a horror notch especially in the lab, which we’re excited to visit—and if you’ve seen the movie, you’ll know familiar specters from the earlier films also pop up. Count us in to answer the call!
