UPDATE: Nov. 10, 2020, 9:51 a.m. EST The Xbox Series X will be getting a special launch day restock at Walmart starting at 12 p.m. EST (online only)

TL;DR:

Today is the day: Preorders for the Xbox Series X and Series S are available for purchase.

If you got caught up in the PlayStation 5 preorder fiasco, you’ll be happy to hear that Xbox put a bit more planning into how their preorder process is going to go down. Starting at 8 am PDT/11 am EDT, both of Xbox’s next-gen consoles became available to pre-order at Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Costco, and Sam’s Club. So, go get ’em!

The Xbox Series X is Xbox’s most powerful next-gen console and will retail for $499, while the smaller and slightly less powerful (but much more budget-friendly) Xbox Series S will retail at $299.

Both consoles can be paired with Xbox All Access, which gets you your console and a subscription to Xbox Game Pass spread out across 24 monthly payments ($24.99 per month for Xbox Series S, $34.99 per month for Xbox Series X).

When the Xbox Series X and Series S launch on Nov. 10, you’ll be able to jump right into games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Dirt 5, Watch Dogs Legion, and more. To get a deeper look into Xbox’s upcoming next-gen slate, check out our coverage here.

Below, we’ll be listing out where you can get your hands on an Xbox Series X or Series S (with regular updates as stock goes in and out). Stock might be limited to start, but we predict that more and more preorders will be made available ahead of launch day on Nov. 10, so don’t panic if you don’t lock one down today.
